The Tar Series kickwaxes are best in new snow. The tar additive will help prevent icing which is common with newer snow types. The tar yellow is best when it is a snow/rain mix. The more wet the snow fall the better the tar yellow is. The next step for more kick would be a Red or yellow klister depending on the brand. You will want to place a binder with a wax this soft. Suggestions for binder would be a standard base wax without any klister additive like Rex Base, or Vauhti GS Base AT because of the new snow.
